What DAJIANG supplies to Middle East buyers

The Middle East is one of our established export regions alongside Europe, South Korea and wider East Asia. Buyers in this region typically source a mix of retail cookware for supermarket and houseware chains, buffet and serving formats for hotel and catering supply, and utility hardware for wholesale distributors. Because one factory covers all three, an order can be assembled from a single quotation, a single packing standard and a single shipment.

Six categories from one sourcing desk

Our catalog is organised into six sourcing categories: cookware and saucepans, oil strainers and frying tools, frying pans and woks, food warmers and serving ware, bowls and trays, and stainless steel cleaning hardware. Each of the 241 published models has its own specification page with model number, material grade, dimensions, packing note and a direct quotation path. You are not choosing from a PDF catalogue where the specification is six months old — the product page is the specification.

Factory facts you can verify

The operating facts are published so a buyer can check them during supplier qualification without a discovery call. The legal entity is Chaozhou Chao'an District Jinshi Town Jiangshun Daily Products Factory. The facility covers 2,661 m² and the team is 35 people across production, assembly, packing and export support. Production is located in Jinshi Town, Chao'an District, Chaozhou, Guangdong. A third-party profile is maintained on Alibaba.com as an additional company and product reference for buyers who need an external verification layer before opening a direct account.

Formats already in production for Gulf shelves

Rather than describe what a region "prefers", it is more useful to show the formats that already exist in the range and let you match them against your own shelf set. The three groups below cover most of what a Middle East houseware or catering buyer orders in a first season.

Cookware sets and open stock

The Gold Set (model 3201) is a five-piece graduated cookware set in 16 cm, 18 cm, 20 cm, 22 cm and 24 cm, produced in 201 stainless steel with a non-magnetic finish. It is the configuration most often used for gift-box and promotional retail programmes, where a matched graduated set reads better on shelf than open stock. Buyers who need open stock instead can specify individual diameters from the same body, and can combine them with the wok range built on a three-layer construction — 304 stainless steel interior, aluminium core, 430 stainless steel exterior — in 22 cm through 30 cm (models 3241–3245). Open stock suits distributors supplying independent retailers, where shelf space is allocated by diameter rather than by set.

Serving and buffet formats

For hotel, catering and buffet supply, the range includes rectangular trays in eight sizes from 18 × 13 × 2 cm up to 61 × 41 cm (models 3601–3608), and square chafing dishes available in single through four-compartment configurations (models D3057–D3060). Chafing dishes ship four pieces to a reference carton. These formats are specified by footprint and compartment count rather than by capacity band, because buffet operators lay out by well size. Confirm the exact footprint you need against your existing chafer stands before ordering — a mismatch here is the most common reason a buffet line arrives and does not fit.

Cleaning and utility hardware

Utility hardware is produced largely in 410 stainless steel, which is magnetic and hard-wearing, and suits brooms, dustpans, scoops and shovels where abrasion resistance matters more than food contact. The large dustpan (model 1011) is 66 × 25 cm, packed 10 pieces to an inner pack and 100 pieces to a reference carton. Distributors usually consolidate these with cookware in the same container, since the carton cube per unit value is low and the freight benefit of mixing is significant.

Documentation and destination requirements

Compliance in this region is destination-specific and model-specific, so we do not apply one certificate to an unrelated product. What we do is send the document set that matches the exact SKU and the exact importing country, and put the confirmed version in writing before bulk production starts.

What we send before you commit

Four documents are prepared around the order. The product specification sheet records model, material, dimensions, finish, components and intended use. The export quotation records quantity tiers, packaging, trade term, sample arrangement and lead-time confirmation. The packaging and label sheet records private label, colour box, barcode and shipping-mark requirements. Where a test report exists for the selected material and model, it is released with the report number, issuing laboratory, test date and referenced standard so your own compliance team can check applicability rather than take a title at face value.

Why we do not publish a blanket certificate claim

A report is only evidence when its tested material, product scope and date correspond to the item being purchased. A LFGB report issued for one material does not cover a different grade, and a report issued three years ago may no longer satisfy your retailer. For that reason the published compliance position is a verification matrix rather than a logo wall: product group, target market, and the document to verify, with status confirmed by SKU before order. If your destination requires a specific standard or a certificate of conformity arranged by your own importer, tell us at enquiry stage and we will confirm what can be supplied from our side and what your local partner must arrange.

Export packaging and shipping marks

Packing is specified per model, not per container, because a 61 cm tray and a 16 cm saucepan cannot share one standard. The published packing note on each product page states the retail pack and the reference carton quantity, so the freight calculation can be done before the quotation is issued.

Retail pack and master carton

The standard retail pack is an individual OPP bag, with inner packs used where the carton count makes handling easier — for example 20 pieces to an inner pack and 60 to the carton, or 15 to an inner pack and 30 to the carton. Reference carton quantities across the range run from single-piece cartons for large buffet items up to 120 pieces for small hardware. Colour box, hangtag, shrink-wrap and display-ready packs are available on request and are quoted with the order quantity, since the minimum run for printed packaging differs from the minimum run for the product.

Humidity and transit protection

Container interiors reach high temperatures and humidity on Gulf routes, and condensation is the main cause of surface staining on stainless steel in transit. Protection is specified at packing stage rather than left to the loader: dry packing environment, no wet cartons, adequate ventilation in the stow, and separation of stainless from any carbon steel components that could transfer contamination. Where a buyer's own warehouse is not climate controlled, we recommend keeping the factory carton closed until the goods are ready to display, because the carton is part of the protection.

Mixed containers and quantity tiers

Most first orders from this region are mixed. A distributor wants to test six or eight models before committing a full container to one item, and a mixed container is the normal way to do it without carrying the cost of separate shipments.

Sample, trial order, full container

The commercial path has three steps. A sample confirms the physical article — finish, weight, handle feel, rim form. A trial order confirms the packing, the label and the buyer's own quality expectations at small volume. A full container then runs on the confirmed specification. Quantity tiers per model are issued with the quotation, because the workable minimum depends on the material, the finish and the packing format: a plain 201 body and a printed colour box do not share the same economical run.

How mixing works

Mixing is arranged by model within one container, subject to each model's own minimum and to the carton cube adding up to a workable load. The practical constraint is not the container volume but the per-model minimum, so the useful thing to send at enquiry stage is the model list with target quantities and the destination port. We will return a container plan that shows what fits, what has to move up to the next tier, and where a substitution would improve the load.

Trade terms and payment

Quotations are issued against a named trade term rather than a single headline price, so the comparison with another supplier is like for like. FOB quotes the goods delivered to the port of loading, which is the normal basis for a buyer with their own freight forwarder. CIF quotes include freight and insurance to the destination port, which is useful for a first shipment where the buyer has not yet appointed a forwarder for that lane. CFR is also available where the buyer insures the cargo through their own policy.

Payment terms are confirmed with the quotation and the order value; the standard structure is a deposit against the order and the balance against shipping documents, with the exact percentages stated in writing before production. Where a buyer has an established account, terms can be reviewed against order history and shipment record. Documents released against payment normally include the commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading and certificate of origin, and any test report agreed for the SKU. Do not treat any percentage on this page as a commitment — the term that matters is the one on your signed quotation.

Lead time and production scheduling

Lead time depends on the model, the finish and the packing, and it is confirmed in writing with the quotation rather than published as a single factory-wide number. Three separate timings matter to a buyer planning a season. Sample preparation runs on its own schedule and is quoted when the sample is requested. Bulk production is scheduled from the date the specification and the deposit are both confirmed — not from the date of the enquiry. Packing and export preparation add time after production, and printed packaging adds a further lead time before packing can start.

Two practical points follow. The first is that the clock starts later than most first-time buyers expect, because specification confirmation and deposit clearance both have to happen before materials are issued, so an enquiry answered quickly can still produce a shipment date that slips if the specification is revised mid-order. The second is seasonality: demand for houseware and catering ware peaks ahead of retail seasons and hotel openings, and the factory calendar fills accordingly. If you are working to a fixed retail window, state the on-shelf date at enquiry stage so the schedule can be built backwards from it rather than forward from the order date.

Middle East buyer FAQ

Do you supply food-contact documentation for cookware?

Documentation is confirmed for the selected material and model before order approval. Send the SKU, the intended use and the destination country, and the applicable report, specification sheet and packing information are reviewed against that exact product.

Can you support destination-market requirements such as a certificate of conformity?

Send the destination and the required standard first. We review the requested documentation against the selected product and confirm what can be supplied from the factory side and what your importer or local agent must arrange.

What is the minimum order for a mixed container?

Each model has its own minimum, issued with the quotation. The practical route for a first season is a model list with target quantities and a destination port, from which we return a container plan showing what fits.

Can we approve a sample before bulk production?

Yes. Sample availability, cost and preparation time are confirmed for the selected model, and the approved sample is kept with the order record.

Can packaging and shipping marks be customised?

Private label, colour box, carton marks and barcode requirements are reviewed together with the order quantity and the model, because the minimum run for printed packaging is set separately from the product minimum.

Which grade should we choose for retail cookware — 201 or 304?

Both are produced in this range. 201 is the non-magnetic high-manganese grade used across a large part of the cookware line; 304 is used where nickel content and corrosion resistance are the buying criterion, including as the interior layer of the three-layer wok construction. The trade-off is cost against corrosion margin, and it is worth settling before the model list is fixed.

Request a quotation

Send the model numbers or reference specification, the target quantity per model, the destination port and any packaging or labelling requirement. You will receive a specification confirmation, a quantity-tiered quotation, the packing plan and the documentation position for the exact SKUs — in writing, before any production commitment.

Four things come back in the first reply. The specification sheet confirms model, material, dimensions and finish so a mismatch is caught before pricing. The quotation shows quantity tiers per model, because the workable minimum changes with material and packing. The packing plan shows retail pack, carton quantity and the cube per model, which is what your forwarder needs to price the lane. The documentation position states which reports exist for the selected material and model, with report number and date, and which items must be arranged on your side.

Quotation requests go to info@dajiangstainless.com, or by WhatsApp on +61 415 768 510. Buyers who prefer a marketplace record can also open the conversation through the Alibaba.com supplier profile. If you are still comparing material grades, read the grade comparison guide before fixing the model list; that decision changes the cost structure of the whole order.
